Rates and Payments
All prices are inclusive of the current VAT rate. You must pay a deposit to secure a booking and the balance must be paid in full prior to arrival. When you pay your deposit the balance due date will be clearly stated. You can pay via Stripe on our online portal. If any difficulty paying via Stipe you can pay on our website www.wavecrestcamping.com quoting your name and booking reference number, or alternatively we can take your payment over the telephone. Your card details are shredded after the transaction has been completed.
Minors

Pitch Numbers
Check in time is from 2.00 pm daily and departure time is by 12.00 p.m.
If you are arriving after 8.00 p.m. you must telephone John at 087-2203828 before 6 p.m.
On arrival you go to our reception office, and you will be given a security fob to enter the barrier.
If the office is closed instructions and phone numbers will be displayed as we live on site.
You will have a pre-allocated pitch number. You have no permission to occupy any other pitch, or swap or change pitch. The size of your unit and the number of occupants must match your booking.
There is only one car per pitch allowed. We have extra limited car parking available at a €5.00 cost per night. Vehicle registration number has to be given in office. No commercial vehicles allowed on site. There is a strict 15 kph speed limit on site.
We cannot guarantee that family members or friends are pitched side by side as this depends on availability and matching pitches to size of units.
Electricity is 10 amp. Please ensure you have the correct outdoor European standard plug for connection which is also available in camping supply shops. You should check your devices that they will work on 10 amp.
Unit Types
If you have a caravan, you need to state whether it is single or twin axle, with or without an awning.
Not all pitches are long enough for twin axle, or wide enough to accommodate an awning.
If you have a Motor Home, you need to state if it has a roll out porch awning or a separate driveaway awning.
Tent sizes must be exact and include guy ropes.
A breathable ground sheet must be used tents.
Our pitches are not suitable for extra-large tents or Gazebos
Extended Stays
If you wish to extend your stay, please check with reception as soon as possible.
There is no guarantee, and you may be moved to a different pitch.

Cancellations
A minimum of 7 days written notice (email) is required in advance of your arrival date and a minimum of 14 days for any booking for July and August. We will endeavour to rearrange your booking within the season or failing this we will refund via stripe less €10.00 administration charge.
If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, there will be no refund or exchange of dates, unless there are exceptional circumstances, for example, state exam date changes, serious illness, family bereavement, this information must be submitted in writing, after this a refund will be processed less the €10.00 administration charge. Refunds cannot be made for any changes/amendments made to your booking on arrival or during your stay. We advise all customers to have travel insurance to protect your booking. If we at Wave Crest Caravan Park cannot honour your booking due to something happening here in our business outside of our control, e.g., a red weather warning, we will refund your booking in full.
Behaviour
Please act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff, and all other guests.
Noise to be kept to a minimum between 10.00 pm and 11.30 pm and absolute quietness between 11.30 pm and 8am. No trespassing on adjoining properties. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you or any member of your party behaves in a manner that is unacceptable to us. Children are always the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Pets
We are a dog friendly caravan park; dogs must be kept on a lead on site and dog litter must be collected and disposed of. No banned dog species allowed. Dogs are not allowed in any of the buildings onsite including the shop, reception, laundry, TV room and Toilet blocks. No dogs to be left unattended on site. The owner of the dog is responsible for the dog’s behaviour and conduct.
Visitors
Must check in at reception and can arrange to meet residents at the seating area across from reception. No access to site without prior permission and no using your fob to leave visitors cars access. Management reserves the right to refuse any visitor admission.
WiFi
Wi-Fi is provided by an outside company and is paid for separately by you the customer. There are daily, hourly, and weekly rates available. This is paid through PayPal.

Refuse
Please separate your refuse to the appropriate bins provided on site.
Waste Disposal
Please enquire at reception re wastewater and chemical disposal instructions and follow signage.
Fires and BBQ’s
Open campfires are not permitted on site. Free standing BBQs are allowed, and BBQ trays once not used directly on the grass. Please do not place these in refuse bins until they are dampened and fully cold or please wait until the following morning to dispose of same.
Fire Safety
Please be aware of fire safety equipment and location of same. Fire boxes, Fire reels or Fire extinguishers must not be tampered with. In case of emergency please go to the office during opening hours asap for help or dial John 087-2203828. Please follow management instruction in the event of any fire.

Your property on Site
We recommend you insure your valuables. Your possessions are your responsibility. Lost property or anything found on site are brought to our reception office. All vehicles/caravans are parked at the owner’s risk. The management accepts no liability for loss or damage while on the park. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to your possessions. If you are found vandalising or causing damage to any building equipment or property on this park you will be evicted and or prosecuted.
